Dailard has three Kindergarten classrooms. We have a strong kinder team who collaborate together to bring the best experience for our new Dailard dolphins!
Mrs. Kinney has been a teacher since 1998 and taught kindergarten at Dailard since 2007. In addition to a Masters in Education she also has a degree in theater. Mrs. Kinney enjoys singing and dancing.
Mrs. Leisse has been a teacher since 2003 and has been at Dailard since 2015. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She enjoys hiking, swimming and taking walks with her dogs.
Mrs. Russell has been a teacher since 2008 and she has been at Dailard since 2017. She enjoys her family time, cheering her boys on in sports and heading to the beach any chance she can get.
Children who turn 5 on or before September 1, 2021 are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten for the 2021/22 School Year.
Children entering kindergarten should have the following immunizations:
- 5 DTaP (4 doses meet requirement if at least one was given on or after the 4th birthday)
- 4 Polio (3 doses meet requirement if at least one was given on or after the 4th birthday)
- 3 Hep B
- 2 MMR (Both doses given on or after 1st birthday. Only on dose of mumps and rubella vaccines are required if given separately.)
- 2 Varicella
Our Kindergarten students have their own bathrooms, play area and snack time.
