YMCA Before and After School Care

Dailard's on-site before and after school care provider is John A. Davis Family YMCA; serving students from transitional kindergarten (TK) to grade 5.

Overview

The YMCA Character Builders before and after school program takes pride in reaching out to the children and families in communities in which we serve by supporting and strengthening the family unit and helping children to reach their fullest potential and delivering the program in a positive YMCA environment of safety, support and care. Our goals and objectives as child development providers are to contribute to the child's total development; physically, emotionally, socially and mentally.

Each day includes a new program or activity to help participants learn, build life skills and develop healthy relationships - including healthy snacks, sports and games, art, music and more.

Staffing

All staff are CPR and First Aid certified, health screened and TB certified, background checked, child abuse certified, has an educational background in child development, and receives annual YMCA trainings through the YMCA of San Diego County and the YMCA of USA.

Program Hours

Before School: Monday-Friday, 6:30 am-7:45 am

After School: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 2:10 pm-6:00 pm
                        Wednesday, 12:15 pm-6:00 pm
